Bypass Bans

Well first what you should know is that there are two main types of bans, a MAC ban and an IP ban. A MAC ban has to do with your MAC address, this has nothing to do with a mac computer. An IP ban is pretty straight forward. For those who don't know what it is, it is a "Internet Protocol address" assigned to your network to identify your location. Here is how to tell what kind of ban you have,

MAC Ban:

-When you click on your private server client the game opens

-When you try to log into your account you get the message with some sort of "Ban Reason"

-You can make a new account and log in

-Once you select a new character on the new account the client crashes

Congrats you have been MAC banned

IP Ban:

-Client doesn't open and you get the standard server down message

Once you have determined what kind of ban you have now it's time for the fun part. 

*Before you get your hopes up I will let you know that these bypasses will not allow you to play on the      banned account again. They will allow you to play but you will have to start from scratch.

*There is other ways to bypass bans but I find these to be the best free, simplest ways with the best results

Bypass MAC Ban:

-Down load Technitium MAC Address Changer

-Install

-Open up the program and click "Random MAC Address"

-After that click "Change Now!"

Now open up your client and log in. When you select your character on the unbanned account you should log into play.

  

Bypass IP address:

-Download Hot Spot Shield

-Install

-You may have to reboot, reboot if necessary 

-Open "Hot Spot Shield"

-If you don't see a box open up in the bottom right hand corner of your screen go to the bottom right hand corner and you should see a little shield in the applications list

-Click it and the hotspot shield box will open up.

-Click connect and Hotspot shield will find you a new IP

-Once connected try opening the client

-The client should open but if not click disconnect

-Reconnect and try again with a new IP (Some times you will run into an already banned IP)

*There are many ways such as turning off your router for 30 seconds and rebooting it to bypass IP bans but this way is much simpler

*Once logged in you can turn off hot spot shield if it slows down your computer too much

Now you might find a server that no matter how many different IP's you try you will not be able to log in. Servers such as HydraMS will not open with just hotspot shield. It is still fairly simple though.

Bypass HydraMS bans (Or servers with similar ban types):

-Follow MAC Ban steps

-Follow IP Ban steps

*Yes it is that simple. Some servers just happen to use both but it is still very simple to bypass

Tip when bypassing.

Choose unrelated IGN's and Log in ID's so that you won't have an annoying GM consistently waiting for you to log on just to reban you.
