Bypass Bans

Well first what you should know is that there are two main types of bans, a MAC ban and an IP ban. A MAC ban has to do with your MAC address, this has nothing to do with a mac computer. An IP ban is pretty straight forward. For those who don't know what it is, it is a "Internet Protocol address" assigned to your network to identify your location. Here is how to tell what kind of ban you have,

MAC Ban:

-When you click on your private server client the game opens

-When you try to log into your account you get the message with some sort of "Ban Reason"

-You can make a new account and log in

-Once you select a new character on the new account the client crashes

Congrats you have been MAC banned

IP Ban:

-Client doesn't open and you get the standard server down message

Once you have determined what kind of ban you have now it's time for the fun part. 

*Before you get your hopes up I will let you know that these bypasses will not allow you to play on the      banned account again. They will allow you to play but you will have to start from scratch.

*There is other ways to bypass bans but I find these to be the best free, simplest ways with the best results

Bypass MAC Ban:

-Down load Technitium MAC Address Changer

-Install

-Open up the program and click "Random MAC Address"

-After that click "Change Now!"

Now open up your client and log in. When you select your character on the unbanned account you should log into play.

  

Bypass IP address:

-Download Hot Spot Shield

-Install

-You may have to reboot, reboot if necessary 

-Open "Hot Spot Shield"

-If you don't see a box open up in the bottom right hand corner of your screen go to the bottom right hand corner and you should see a little shield in the applications list

-Click it and the hotspot shield box will open up.

-Click connect and Hotspot shield will find you a new IP

-Once connected try opening the client

-The client should open but if not click disconnect

-Reconnect and try again with a new IP (Some times you will run into an already banned IP)

*There are many ways such as turning off your router for 30 seconds and rebooting it to bypass IP bans but this way is much simpler

*Once logged in you can turn off hot spot shield if it slows down your computer too much

Now you might find a server that no matter how many different IP's you try you will not be able to log in. Servers such as HydraMS will not open with just hotspot shield. It is still fairly simple though.

Bypass HydraMS bans (Or servers with similar ban types):

-Follow MAC Ban steps

-Follow IP Ban steps

*Yes it is that simple. Some servers just happen to use both but it is still very simple to bypass

Tip when bypassing.

Choose unrelated IGN's and Log in ID's so that you won't have an annoying GM consistently waiting for you to log on just to reban you.

How to dupe with Mimi

Here is another fairly simple dupe. This is probably the easiest way to dupe but unfortunately it is patched in nearly every server besides low end servers.

All you need is:
-An item you wish to dupe
-The NPC Mimi / 7th day market
-@save command

The problem with this dupe is most servers have ether, removed NPC Mimi's text or completely removed her from the code making you unable to move to the maple 7th day market. If you are fortunate enough to have her still within the code here is what you must do.

1. Type @save
2. Drop the item you wish to duplicate
3. Move to the maple 7th day market
4. Change channels then change back, relog, or just simply enter the cash shop and exit. If the dupe worked you will end up right back near Mimi in the town you were in. The item you dropped will still be on the ground for you to pick up yet also still in your inventory.

Even if you can move to the 7th day market there is still a chance that this dupe is patched so don't be discouraged if you can not get the dupe to work. This is a well known dupe so most owners will have done what they can to prevent players from preforming this dupe.

Dupe ect items with Mushroom House Elf

There are multiple ways to dupe but by far the best way is with a "Mushroom House Elf" shop. Many servers have caught on to this dupe and have patched it so it may not work on every server. Do not expect dupes to work on servers such as Hydrams (aka Rydahms) because owners of top servers work hard to patch all kinds of dupes.

     Anyway the first thing you must do is find a way to get your hands on a "Mushroom House Elf." Many servers have this item removed from the cash shop but by ether asking a GM (not recommended), using a wish system (explained below, recommended), or by using packets (recommended if experienced), you can get your hands on one of these shops.
     Next you will need 50 of a given ect item. This dupe is purely for duping ect items so do not be expecting to dupe MSI. Most servers have an ect item currency though so you should be able to afford many MSI afterwards.
     Last thing you need is two accounts, one needs a character with the Mushroom House Elf and 50 ect items and the other account needs a character with approximately one thousand meso (you can work with less but you need at least fifty meso to buy your ect item back. More then 50 is preferable).

1. So first thing you need to do is log on to the account with the Mushroom House Elf.
2. Go to a free market room, you have the best chance to not get caught in rooms higher in the market    on unpopulated channels.
3. Open up the shop and name it what ever you want, it does not influence the dupe
4. Place 50 of your ect item (Tetris, chickens, maple leafs, or any ect currency work) in the shop and list them as a package of 1 and priced and one meso.
5. Open the shop and log off.
6. Log on to your other account with the meso.
7. Find the shop you just opened and go into purchase the ect item.
8. Purchase 50. If the dupe worked, you will purchase 50 of the item but the shop will show that 49 are remaining.
9. Continue to purchase the item at the amount that it says is currently left. 49, 48, 47, 46 ~
10. You should end up with just over 1,200 of the ect item if you buy the stock down to 1.

And that is how you dupe with a Mushroom House Elf. Some other shops do work so feel free to experiment with this dupe. If you do everything right and it does not work then this dupe is most likely patched.

*Wish system- some servers have a wish system where you collect a certain item and then may receive a random item of your choice. You most likely will be able to receive a Mushroom House Elf from this system.
